Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef stew meat, cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, and water. Mix well.
Place the carrots and potatoes in the bottom of a Dutch oven. Pour the beef mixture over the vegetables.
Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Do not peek or stir during cooking.
Cook for 4 hours. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
Notes:
For best results, use a good quality beef stew meat.
