Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat cut into chunks
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz can
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix 1 oz package
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups carrots sliced
  • 4 cups potatoes diced

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef stew meat, cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, and water. Mix well.
  • Place the carrots and potatoes in the bottom of a Dutch oven. Pour the beef mixture over the vegetables.
  • Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Do not peek or stir during cooking.
  • Cook for 4 hours. Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes:

For best results, use a good quality beef stew meat.
