Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned.
  • Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  • Stir in tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes.
  • Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, and cardamom. Stir well.
  • Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
