Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef, cubed
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 large Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 large Carrots, sliced
  • 2 large Potatoes, cubed

Instructions: 

  • Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is soft.
  • Stir in the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour.
  • Add the sliced carrots and cubed potatoes. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is great served with rice or bread.
