Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs venison, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup lima beans
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 0.5 cup barbecue sauce
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • In a large pot, brown the venison over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes.
  • Add corn, lima beans, and potatoes.
  • Stir in barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.

This stew is perfect for a cold day and pairs well with crusty bread.
