Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder cut into chunks
  • 2 Turnips peeled and diced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add pork chunks and brown on all sides.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  • Add diced turnips, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes:

Great served with crusty bread.
