Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 3 cups Red chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 large Onion chopped

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • 3. Add the pork cubes and brown on all sides.
  • 4. Pour in the red chili sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, ground cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
  • 6. Serve hot with rice or tortillas.

Notes:

For a spicier stew, add more chili sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
