Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups Potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 3. Remove the lamb and set aside.
  • 4. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  • 5. Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 6. Return the lamb to the pot, add the beef broth, and bring to a boil.
  • 7. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • 8. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • 9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes:

Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
