Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into cubes
  • 2 Fennel Bulbs sliced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add beef and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add onion, fennel, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
  • Return beef to the pot and add beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours or until beef is tender.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread.
