Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Venison cut into chunks
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Add venison chunks and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Remove venison and set aside.
  • 4. In the same pot, add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  • 5. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • 6. Return venison to the pot and add beef broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • 7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, or until venison is tender.

Notes:

Serve with rice or tortillas for a complete meal.
