Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Lamb, cubed
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1 can Chickpeas, drained
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add cubed lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Stir in ground cumin, coriander, and turmeric.
  • Add chickpeas, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes:

Serve with rice or flatbread.
