Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Chuck cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Potatoes diced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and brown the beef chuck cubes.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Stir in the tomato paste, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  • 4. Pour in the water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  • 5. Add the carrots and potatoes, cover, and cook for about 2 hours or until the beef is tender.
  • 6. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of red wine or Worcestershire sauce.
