Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 lbs pork shoulder, cubed
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
  • Add the cubed pork and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Stir in the paprika, making sure the meat is well coated.
  • Add the water, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 90 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
  • Serve hot with a side of potatoes or bread.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a dollop of sour cream before serving.
