Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into chunks
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
  • Return beef to the pot. Add beef broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • Add Brussels sprouts and cook for another 30 minutes until tender.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread.
