Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the sausage and cook until browned.
  • Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  • Add the beans, chicken broth, thyme, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread.
