berbere spice

Salt
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
Add garlic and berbere spice, cook for another minute.
Stir in shiro powder and gradually add water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Season with salt to taste.
Notes:
Serve with injera or rice.
