Dumpling Ingredients

Self-raising flour

Instructions:
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Brown the lamb shoulder pieces.
2. Add the chopped carrots, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
3. Stir in the tomato paste, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour in the beef stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours.
5. For the dumplings, mix the self-raising flour, suet, and salt in a bowl. Add cold water gradually until you get a dough.
6. Shape the dough into small balls and drop them into the stew. Cover and cook for another 20 minutes.
