dried fabada beans

chorizo sausage, sliced

morcilla sausage, sliced
1
ham hock
1
onion, chopped

cloves
garlic, minced
1
bay leaf
1
teaspoon
paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Water
Instructions:
Soak the beans overnight in water.
Drain and rinse the beans.
In a large pot, add the beans, chorizo, morcilla, ham hock, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and paprika.
Cover with water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours or until beans are tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken or vegetable broth instead of water.
