Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Tilapia
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 large Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, water, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the fish.
  • Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve hot with rice or your favorite side dish.

Notes:

This dish is best served with steamed rice or mashed potatoes.
