Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups black-eyed peas
  • 1/4 cup palm oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon ground crayfish
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 bouillon cube

Instructions: 

  • Soak black-eyed peas overnight. Drain and rinse.
  • Cook peas in water until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain.
  • Heat palm oil in a pot. Sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  • Add bell pepper and tomatoes. Cook until soft.
  • Add cooked peas, crayfish, ground pepper, salt, and bouillon cube. Stir well.
  • Simmer for 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes:

Serve hot with rice or bread.
