Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef, thinly sliced
  • 800 g Potatoes, sliced
  • 2 medium Onions, sliced
  • 500 ml Beef broth
  • 250 ml Beer
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 pcs Bay leaves

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
  • 3. Add the beef slices and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 4. Layer the sliced potatoes on top of the beef and onions.
  • 5. Pour in the beef broth and beer, then add the bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 90 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  • 7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cold day. Serve with crusty bread.
