Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fish fillets cut into chunks
  • 1 lb Okra sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups Fish stock
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add the fish stock, sliced okra, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add the fish chunks and cook for another 10 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
  • Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is best served with rice or crusty bread.
