Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef cut into cubes
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Potatoes diced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 L Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp Dried Thyme

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the beef cubes and brown them on all sides.
  • 3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  • 5. Add the carrots, potatoes, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • 6. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  • 7. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day, once the flavors have melded together.
