Beef Broth

Red Wine

Tomato Paste

Caraway Seeds

Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add beef and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same pot, add onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
Stir in tomato paste and caraway seeds. Cook for another minute.
Return beef to the pot. Add beef broth, red wine, carrots, and potatoes. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours or until beef is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes:
Serve hot with crusty bread.
