Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into cubes
  • 0.5 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  • 2. Add the beef cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 3. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
  • 4. Stir in the tomato paste, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  • 5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  • 6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes.
  • 7. Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for another 15 minutes.
  • 8. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  • 9. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cozy dinner. Serve with crusty bread.
