Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the chopped cabbage and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day after the flavors have melded together.
