Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the diced yams and stir well.
4. Pour in the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the yams are tender.
6. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the pot, stirring continuously to create ribbons of egg throughout the stew.
7. Cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
