Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Pork shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup White wine
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cups Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Green peas

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add pork and brown on all sides.
  • 2. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Stir in tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • 4. Pour in chicken broth and white wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  • 5. Add potatoes and carrots, cook for another 20 minutes.
  • 6. Stir in green peas and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day. Serve with crusty bread.
