Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat cut into chunks
  • 1 bulb Fennel sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes diced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  • 4. Add fennel, carrots, and potatoes. Stir well.
  • 5. Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 90 minutes.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

For a thicker stew, you can add a tablespoon of flour when adding the vegetables.
