Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef Shank cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 cup Fried Onions crushed
  • 1 tbsp Nihari Masala
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour mixed with water to form a slurry
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions: 

  • Heat oil in a large pot and add ginger garlic paste. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add beef shank pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Add fried onions, nihari masala, and salt. Mix well.
  • Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 4 hours.
  • Add the wheat flour slurry to the pot and cook for another 30 minutes until the stew thickens.
  • Serve hot with naan or rice.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, cook the stew on low heat for a longer time.
