Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 2 Onions chopped
  • 3 Carrots sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the pork cubes and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Add the onions, carrots, and garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • 4. Stir in the tomato paste and caraway seeds. Cook for another minute.
  • 5. Pour in the beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew tastes even better the next day!
