Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 Onions (sliced)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Red wine
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 cups Cooked rice

Instructions: 

  • 1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
  • 2. Add beef and cook until browned. Stir in mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Gradually add beef broth and red wine, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil.
  • 5. Reduce heat and add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes:

Feel free to add more vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition.
