Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides.
3. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Cook until softened.
4. Sprinkle flour over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat.
5. Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
6. Add carrots and potatoes. Simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, until beef is tender.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
