Ingredients:

Beef chunks

Soy sauce

Brown sugar

Beef broth

Thyme

Vegetable oil
to taste
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the beef chunks and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
4. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and thyme.
5. Return the beef to the pot and add the beef broth. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the beef is tender.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, marinate the beef chunks in soy sauce and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.
