Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the beef and brown on all sides.
3. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft.
4. Pour in the beef broth, vinegar, and add the brown sugar. Stir well.
5. Add the bay leaves, ground cloves, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine.
6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
7. Remove the bay leaves before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
