Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are translucent.
3. Stir in the tomato paste, salt, and black pepper.
4. Add the beef broth, carrots, and potatoes. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
