Pork shoulder, cubed

Hominy, drained and rinsed

Green chiles, chopped

Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the cubed pork and cook until browned on all sides.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the ground cumin and dried oregano. Cook for another minute.
4. Add the chopped green chiles, hominy, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes:
This stew is perfect for a cold day. Serve with warm tortillas or crusty bread.
