Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork shoulder, diced
  • 1 cup Green lentils rinsed
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots Carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks Celery, sliced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried rosemary
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced pork and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and sliced celery to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  • 3. Stir in the rinsed lentils, chicken broth, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Bring to a boil.
  • 4. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
  • 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cozy dinner. You can also add other vegetables like potatoes or bell peppers.
