Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Turkey Legs skinless
  • 2 cups Carrots chopped
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the turkey legs and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Remove the turkey legs and set aside.
  • 4. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
  • 5. Add the carrots and potatoes. Stir well.
  • 6. Return the turkey legs to the pot. Pour in the chicken broth.
  • 7. Add salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Stir to combine.
  • 8. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
  • 9. Remove turkey legs, shred the meat, and return to the pot. Discard bones.
  • 10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day. Store leftovers in the fridge.
