Instructions:
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
3. Add the chicken broth, potatoes, and carrots. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Add the peas, cooked bacon, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to add other vegetables like celery or corn for extra flavor.
