Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Agushi seeds
  • 2 tbsp Palm oil
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Tomatoes diced
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the palm oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until golden brown.
  • 3. Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add the agushi seeds and mix well.
  • 5. Pour in the water, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil.
  • 6. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 7. Serve hot with rice or your favorite side.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day, as the flavors meld together.
