Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and cook until they are softened.
3. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the chopped carrots and potatoes. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
