Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
3. Stir in the au jus mix and beef broth, bring to a boil.
4. Add the carrots, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours or until the beef is tender.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
For a thicker stew, you can add a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
