Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat cut into chunks
  • 1 packet Au Jus Mix
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 3 Carrots peeled and sliced
  • 4 Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Stir in the au jus mix and beef broth, bring to a boil.
  • 4. Add the carrots, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours or until the beef is tender.
  • 5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For a thicker stew, you can add a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
