Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Lamb shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 4 Artichokes, cleaned and quartered
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup White wine
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add lamb chunks and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 4. Pour in chicken broth and white wine, bring to a boil.
  • 5. Add artichokes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • 6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For a thicker stew, you can add a tablespoon of flour when adding the onions and garlic.
