Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs goat meat cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the goat meat and brown on all sides.
  • Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, water, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  • Stir in the chopped cilantro just before serving.

Notes:

Serve with rice or plantains for a complete meal.
