Red wine

Potatoes, diced
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the lamb and beef cubes, and brown them on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add the onions, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.
4. Pour in the red wine and let it reduce by half.
5. Add the beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, and the browned meat back to the pot. Stir well.
6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours.
7. Add the potatoes and cook for another 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes:
This stew tastes even better the next day. Store leftovers in the fridge.
