Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  • 2. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • 3. Stir in bell peppers and potatoes, cook for a few minutes.
  • 4. Pour in tomato sauce, water, and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  • 6. Serve hot with rice.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas.
