Olive Oil
Instructions:
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
Stir in the tomato paste, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours.
Add the diced turnips and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the turnips are tender.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes:
Serve hot with crusty bread for a complete meal.
