Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder, diced
  • 2 cups Dried beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add diced pork and cook until browned on all sides.
  • 3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • 4. Stir in soaked beans, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, or until beans are tender.
  • 6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a bay leaf or some thyme while simmering.
