Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 pcs carrots, chopped
  • 2 pcs potatoes, diced
  • 1 pcs onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a Dutch oven, heat a bit of oil over medium-high heat. Brown the stew meat on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in the carrots, potatoes, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Cover the Dutch oven and place it in the preheated oven. Cook for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or green beans.
