Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 sausages sliced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup lentils rinsed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp thyme dried
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced sausages and cook until browned.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Add the chopped carrots, lentils, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
